RETURN AND REFUND POLICIES

At Baksa Tales, we value your satisfaction and aim to ensure a transparent, fair return and refund experience. As a curated marketplace of handcrafted and small-batch goods, each product is unique and made with love by artisans. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Eligibility for Return

  • Products are eligible for return only if they are damaged, defective, or significantly different from the description provided.

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, along with clear photo/video evidence to initiate a return.

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging and tags intact.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the handmade and made-to-order nature of many products, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Personalized or customized items

  • Products marked as ‘Final Sale’

  • Items that have been used, washed, or damaged after delivery

Return Process

  • Email hello@baksatales.com with your order ID, issue description, and relevant images/videos.

  • Once approved, we will guide you through a reverse pickup or ask you to ship the item back to us.

  • Items sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll notify you of your refund status.

  • If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment method provider.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund:

  • First, re-check your bank account or payment app

  • Then, contact your bank or payment provider directly

Exchanges / Replacements

We currently do not offer direct exchanges or replacements. You may return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order separately.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided they haven’t been processed or shipped.
To cancel, please email us at hello@baksatales.com with your order details.

Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to an error on our part (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will cover return shipping costs.

  • For other return reasons, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees.
